Maiden Newton @ War

For Maiden Newton at War 2008 and 2010 we started to collect the memories of people who have lived through the war. Not just the dramatic events which are usually recorded, but also their everyday memories.

We are continuing this for 2012. If you lived through the war years and would like to add your memories please contact us here. If you were born after the war and know someone who would like to share their stories, please ask them to contact us that their memories can be recorded for future generations.

It is important as time marches on to gather memories before the generations who lived through the war pass away and their memories are lost forever.

The memories will be published on ourWeb site and at the Maiden Newton at War weekend which will take place on the 23rd and 24th June 2012.
