Radio Stations in Teesside

Dennis Walker, who kindly provided the information on the Teesside OBs,  has also supplied a number of radio station plans and maps for publication.

The radio stations in North Yorkshire were linked to the command bunker at Coniscliffe which was in turn connected to the barracks at Richmond and Catterick.

The radar station marked on the map below is the Danby Moor Chain Home aircraft detection station.

Auxiliary Unit Radio Stations

The one at Cloughton is in perfect condition. It is on land owned by the Queen and can be visited with permission from the Queen's Office in Scarborough.
